Ready for OS X El Capitan

Apple will release OS X El Capitan shortly and we were busy over the summer to make sure our apps are ready for it.

LaunchBar 6.5 added two beautiful themes that use the new San Francisco system font. Among many bug fixes and improvements, it also supports diversity options for emoji! 🖖🏾

Little Snitch 3.6 introduces support for the new operating system along with a couple of minor improvements. The release notes for this one really don’t reflect that there was quite some under-the-hood tinkering necessary to make sure everything works correctly on OS X El Capitan. Surprisingly, the new System Integrity Protection required almost no work on our end.

Micro Snitch 1.1 was released about a month ago and added some new features, particularly for VoiceOver users. Users of Mac notebooks that were released in 2013 or later probably know that there was a bug in OS X Yosemite that prevented Micro Snitch from working with the built-in FaceTime HD camera. We’re happy to announce that this bug was addressed by Apple in OS X El Capitan and after updating to the new operating system, Micro Snitch will work correctly on these Macs.

As always, all our apps are available for download from our website and via the automatic software update in the apps themselves.

Happy updating! 🎉
